Tech Consulting
Tech consulting is outside expertise brought in at the moment a technical decision becomes expensive to reverse: an architecture, a stack, the scope of an AI project, a codebase to assess, a vendor to choose. SEIZECODE delivers it as a written opinion, in a one-off consultation, a multi-week engagement or a fractional CTO role.
Strategic support for critical technical decisions: architecture choices, stack selection, AI project scoping, existing code audits, technology vendor evaluation. We intervene upstream of a development to prevent structural mistakes, or mid-course to unblock a team. Flexible format: one-time consultation, multi-week engagement, or fractional CTO role.
Use cases
Consulting is worth its cost at the moments a decision becomes expensive to reverse: before a build, before a raise, before a hire.
- Technical scoping of an AI project before hiring a team or issuing an RFP
- Codebase audit before a fundraising round or M&A transaction
- Part-time CTO for an early-stage startup without a technical co-founder
What you get
You leave with a written report and documented recommendations, usable by a team that is not ours.
- Audit or scoping report
- Documented architectural recommendations
- Solution benchmarks
- Technical hiring or vendor selection support
How it works
Every engagement follows the same four steps, from scoping to handover.
IDEAL FOR
Non-technical founders, SMB management teams, investors conducting technical due diligence
Frequently asked questions
The questions prospects ask before they get in touch, answered here first.
What is a fractional CTO?
A fractional CTO is a senior technical lead who works for a company part of the time, typically a day or two a week, and carries the responsibilities of the role: architecture, vendor and hiring decisions, roadmap, technical debt. It suits early-stage companies without a technical co-founder.
What does a code audit deliver?
A code audit delivers a written report on the state of a codebase: architecture, quality, security exposure, test coverage, dependencies and the effort needed to take it further. It is the document an investor or an acquirer wants before a round or a transaction.
Do you also build what you recommend?
Sometimes, and it is stated upfront. The recommendation is written to be usable by any team, and choosing SEIZECODE for the build is a separate decision taken afterwards, never a condition of the advice.
How long does a scoping engagement take?
A scoping engagement takes one to three weeks depending on the project. It ends with a scoping report, an architecture recommendation and, where relevant, a benchmark of solutions, which is what a request for proposals or a hiring plan is then built on.
